1. The chalet can sleep 13 people in 6 separate bedrooms, 4 of these are ensuite, and 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. Any groups of more than 13 people must be arranged in advance.

2. The cost of the chalet is as shown on the website http://www.chaletenchanteur.com and varies from week to week throughout the season. From time to time discounts will be shown on the website for example early booking discount or last minute holiday offers. The price is in pounds sterling and is per chalet per week irrespective of the number of people in the chalet subject to Clause 1 above

3. The chalet can only be booked as the whole chalet and is for sole occupancy.

4. Cots will be provided for babies and infants.

5. The chalet will be cleaned for your arrival. Beds will be made and towels and bed linen will be proved.

6. If the fire is used then this must be cleaned before the end of your holiday. Failure to do this will result in an additional charge of £100 and in addition any costs incurred to receive this money will be added to this amount. Ash must be disposed of using the metal bucket provided to reduce the risk of fire.

7. Any damage to the chalet will be charged at the rate to replace or repair the damaged items and will be charged and in addition any costs incurred to receive this money will be added to this amount.

8. Any damage to the chalet that is discovered on your arrival should be reported immediately.

9. Any rubbish and empty bottles must be disposed of by the guests at the end of the holiday. Failure to do this will result in an additional charge of £100 and in addition any costs incurred to receive this money will be added to this amount.

10. Chalet Enchanteur will not accept any responsibility for damage to any cars while parked outside or inside Chalet Enchanteur.

11. Snow chains must be used to access the chalet if conditions are snowy or icy.

12. Snow will be cleared by snow ploughs each morning if conditions dictate. Chalet Enchanteur is not responsible for removing snow in areas where the snow plough cannot access. In the event of industrial action by the snow plough service Chalet Enchanteur is not responsible for removing snow to allow cars to arrive or leave the chalet. Chalet Enchanteur is also not responsible for removing snow from its grounds.

13. Chalet Enchanteur is not responsible for any accidents inside or outside the chalet.

14. Chalet Enchanteur is not accessible by wheelchair.

15. Chalet Enchanteur does not allow any pets in the chalet. This includes all bedrooms, living space, storage areas, and garage.

16. Any other cleaning that is requested can be provided locally at an additional cost which will be arranged solely between the guests and the cleaning staff. We can help in organising this but Chalet Enchanteur is not in anyway responsible if these arrangements do not work out. It must be stressed this arrangement is solely between the guests and the cleaning staff.

17. Groceries and meals can be arranged and delivered using the same method as in Clause 16 and again Chalet Enchanteur is not in anyway responsible if these arrangements do not work out.

18. The sauna is there for your enjoyment.

19. To confirm the booking a group organiser must be nominated and be responsible for all payments and all information will be provided by him/her (e.g. group names, ages and special requirements).

20. A non-refundable deposit of 30% must be paid to secure the booking. The booking will not be confirmed until this deposit is paid. If there is any delay in paying this deposit then the reserved week may be offered to another party. Payment of the deposit means that you have agreed the terms and conditions of this agreement.

21. The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to the date you booked the chalet. An email will be sent at least 2 weeks before this time to remind you to pay the money, however it is your responsiblity to pay this deposit and the reminder email is merely a courtesy email.

22. Failure to pay the balance may result in your holiday being given to someone else and you will not be entitled to your deposit returned.

23. Cancellation:
If a person or a group of people cancel their holiday at any time they will not be entitled to their deposit returned at any time. Cancellation must be made in writing or email and the date of the cancellation will be the date that we receive it and not the date it was sent. If they cancel after they have paid the balance then there will be a proportion of their money returned:

a. If they cancel before 8 weeks from the date they are due to arrive in the chalet then they will have their money returned less their deposit

b. If they cancel between 4 weeks and 8 weeks of the date they are due to arrive they will lose their deposit + 50% of the balance

c. If they cancel between 2 weeks and 4 weeks they will lose their deposit + 75% of the balance.

d. If they cancel less than 2 weeks then they will lose the whole cost of their holiday and be entitled to no money returned

24. Rarely cancellation by ourselves will be unavoidable. In these circumstances alternative accommodation of similar value will be offered or if this is not possible then a full refund including your deposit will be returned. There may be very rare occasions when "force majeure" may occur eg war, fire, avalanche, terrorist activities or adverse weather conditions and in these occasions no refund will be made.

25. The cost of any damages will be paid for by the party leader. Simple breakages like a plate or a glass will be waived but this will be at the complete discretion of the owners of Chalet Enchanteur.

26. Any lost keys or property of Chalet Enchanteur will be charged to the party leader. In addition any further costs incurred to allow the guests to gain entry to the chalet will also be the responsibility of the party leader.

27. Smoking or the use of candles is not permitted in any part of Chalet Enchanteur.

28. Limitation of liability:
Many service are on offer to our clients in the resort such as skiing course, and other activity courses. These courses are performed by independent organisations over which we do not have control. Where this is the case , we will not be liable for the actions of these third party companies; any claims arising must be made to the appropriate principle.

29. The chalet will be available to occupy after 16.00hrs on your arrival date.

30. The chalet must be vacated by 10.00 hrs on the day of your departure.

31. The owners or their management company shall be allowed access at any reasonable time during your stay.

32. Force Majeure. The owner or the management company accept no responsibility whatsoever and no compensation or any other payment will be made if any cancellation or change to the terms of the booking becomes necessary due to war or threat of war, riots, civil commotion, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions, building or construction in progress within the community, technical problems with transportation, closure or congestion of airports, alterations or cancellation of schedules by carriers, or any other events beyond our control.

33. The owners and the management company of the property accept no responsibility whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal belongings however caused. The use of all accommodations and amenities including the hot tub is entirely at the user's own risk. The owners or management company cannot accept any liability for any loss of rental time due to travel problem, flight delays or cancellations, industrial disputes or any events outside our control, including any form of Force Majeure. The owners and the Management Company cannot accept responsibility for the sudden failure of chalet equipment but will take immediate reasonable action to rectify any such failure upon notification by the guests. If the hot tub heater cannot reach optimum temperature due to adverse cold weather conditions the owners or the management company cannot accept liability.
